Folder Path on Windows vs MacOS

A folder, also known as a directory, has a hierarchal structure on your computer. Imagine it is like a tree, it has its roots, trunk, and branches.

For this case, your computer has a hard drive which all the folders and files reside.

For Windows, it would look like

C:\Folder\subFolder

For MacOS, it would look like

/Folder/subFolder
